The Domino Effect : The positive media on the animal world and the environment
You will find on this site articles, videos which are also published on the YouTube channel “The Domino Effect”. In the section “To go further”, you can find suggestions for books and accessories for making plant-based cuisine. The subjects covered on this site cover the protection of biodiversity : animal world, environment as well as subjects of mindfulness and society.
It is because I am passionate about protecting biodiversity and the animal cause, that I created an independent, positive and inspiring media: “The Domino Effect”, “l’Effet Domino” (lED) in French. It is a YouTube channel and website in French and English.
The themes are animals (fauna), environment (flora), mindfulness and social issues.
The articles aim to go further than the video report. Topics range from the reproduction of toads, to the need to save the oceans, to the preservation of bats. And soon a report on a women’s scientific expedition to Svalbard, a Norwegian archipelago in the Arctic Ocean.
I want your gaze to stop on a tit, or a pigeon, or the arrangement of the branches of a tree, to give way to emotion. Because it is indeed a question of emotion to stop the violence suffered every day by farm animals and wild animals that man has categorised as “harmful”. Harmful to whom? Why is it so? Because yes, it is a question of making society in this globalized world, marked by a speciesism that wants to be king of the world but which is not !
Our ability to solve human challenges will require an ethic of life and respect for all identities. I am convinced that it is truly the year 2022 that will be a catalyst for these transformations which will place ethics as a central value in our development.
I know how wrong we can be if we ignore it in favour of our minds. The links that unite us with all living things (plants and animals) have been lost.
If we want to live without violence, it must be through the well-being of all living beings that inhabit our planet. If one of them fails, we will all suffer.
